9 Days - New Delhi – Agra – Jaipur – Sariska – New Delhi
Day 1: arrival in Delhi from respective country
Reception at the airport and drive to the hotel in New Delhi where you can relax or freshen up. Depending on the hour you can still do some sightseeing in the capital of New Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi - Agra by Surface: 205 Kms
After lunch drive from Delhi to Agra .On arrival at Agra, check in to the hotel.
Evening free for leisure & stay overnight in Agra.
Day 3: Agra
After breakfast, proceed to see Taj Mahal (suggested to take Guide during tour on your own). Proceed for the guided tour (guided on your own) of Agra Fort & Sikandra.
After that (optional) visit to itmad ud daulah. Stay overnight at the hotel in Agra.
TajMahal: It was in 1653 that the glorious TajMahal's construction was completed. Built by the Mughal King Shah Jahan as the final resting place for his beloved wife MumtazMahal, TajMahal is perhaps India's most beautiful and enchanting monument. Finished in white marble, it is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is also one of the three World Heritage sites in Agra. Everything about TajMahal is fascinating. Spend the day here and watch the changing colors of the marble with the changing shades of the sun.
Agra Fort: The Agra Fort was commissioned in 1565 A.D. by the great Mughal ruler Akbar. A stone tablet at the gate of the majestic fort states that it was built before 1000 A.D. and was later renovated by Akbar. The colossal structure, a World Heritage site, is made entirely of red sandstone and houses historical structures such as the Pearl Mosque, Deewa-ae-Aam, Deewan-ae-Khas, Jahangir's Palace, Sheesh Mahal, and KhasMahal. There is much to see and explore and learn at the Agra Fort.
Day 4: Agra to Jaipur by surface: 238 kms | 4-5 hrs
After early breakfast and check -out from hotel, en route visit Fatehpur Sikri and after lunch drive to Jaipur. Check-in and overnight at Hotel in Jaipur .
Fatehpur Sikri: The royal city at Fatehpur Sikri, situated 26 miles west of Agra, was built at the orders of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. While Akbar himself was illiterate, he took a keen interest in literature, architecture, and the arts. He is also reputed to be a very tolerant ruler, and the buildings at Fatehpur Sikri blended both Islamic and Hindu elements in their architectural style. One of the buildings even reflects the new sycretistic faith founded by Akbar, Din-e-ilahi, which though very short-lived remains a matter of controversy.
Jaipur: Jaipur is the vibrant capital of Rajasthan is famous with the name of pink city, because of the pink-colored buildings in the city.
Day 5: Jaipur
After breakfast, proceed for the guided tour to Jaigarh Fort & Nahalgarh Fort followed by visit to Amber Fort (Elephant Ride-One Way) , rest of the day at the local bazaar of Old Jaipur city and (optional) dinner at Chokki Dhani. Then return to the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 06: Jaipur –Sariska
After Breakfast in the morning, visit city palace Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar. Later, drive to Sariska and en route enjoy lunch. Overnight stay hotel in Sariska.
Hawa Mahal: The palace of winds a fascinating landmark of Rajasthan, was built by the orders of poet-king, Sawai Pratap Singh in the 18th century and is the most remarkably designed monument in Jaipur. What is seen from the Sireh Deorhi Bazar is the Multi-niched five storey high backside of the complex. it was conceived to provide
adequate vantage position behind stone carved mesh like screens to the palace women for watching the royal processions passing through the bazaar. It now has a museum and the collections include paintings, coins, handicrafts and sculptures. 'Jaipur-past and present' is the special feature of the museum.
Jantar Mantar: Jantar Mantar is the largest and best preserved of Sawai Jai Singh's five observatories. It is built in stone and marble whose setting and shapes are designed scientifically and which are one of the high points of medieval highpoints of medieval Indian astronomy. There are also two Ram Yantras for gauging altitudes.
Day 07: Sariska
After breakfast, head out to the tiger reserve for morning and afternoon safaris(Optional). Spot the Great Indian Tiger in its natural habitat; you will discover a fair population of peacocks and deer among other wild animals and birds. Retire to your room in the evening and Overnight stay Hotel in Sariska.
Day 08: Sariska to Delhi: 214 kms | 4 hrs
After Breakfast, drive to Delhi and check-in to Hotel after lunch visit new Delhi – Connaught place, Red Fort and India Gate and overnight stay at hotel in New Delhi.
Day 09: Delhi to Respective Country
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and day is free for local sightseeing and after you will be transported for the airport/train station for respective country/city.
